Highlights of the Press meet held at Hotel Forte Manor to announce the International Preventive Oncology Summit 2023.

The press meet was attended by eminent oncologists from Mayo Clinic, USA, Dr. Karthik Ghosh and Dr. Amit Ghosh, who are our esteemed collaborators for the Cancer Safe Kerala Project and M V Pillai Medical Oncologist, Thomas Jefferson University USA & President of International Network for Cancer Treatment and Research, USA & Advisory Board Member Swasthi Foundation. They shared their views on the current scenario and future prospects of preventive oncology in India and globally. They announced the International Preventive Onco Summit 2023, A global pathway to the Cancer Safe Kerala Project, which aims to cover the entire population of Kerala with a cancer screening program and a comprehensive cancer control strategy.

The press meet was also graced by the presence of Shashi Tharoor MP, who is a renowned author, politician, and advocate for health and social justice. He expressed his support and appreciation for the Cancer Safe Kerala Project and the International Preventive Oncology Summit 2023. He also emphasized the need for creating awareness and mobilizing resources for cancer prevention and control in Kerala.
